We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2024, at the age of 84, Royce Wendell Shelton (Amarillo, Texas), born in Cedaredge, Colorado passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Royce Wendell Shelton to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hamilton Shelton and Marjorie Christine Linscott Shelton; his wife Phyllis Shelton; and his grandson Jeremy Gray. He is survived by: his children, Donnie Allen of Luther, Dana Rodriguez of Borger, Darin Allen (Edie) of Amarillo, John Allen of Phoenix and Jennifer Helms (Chris) of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Connie Rodriguez, Christian Rodriguez, Ben Allen (Shelby), Madi Nguyen (Bill), Hudson Helms and Stella Grace Helms; and his sister Waunell Murphy of Borger. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger (314 S Hedgecoke St, Borger, TX 79007). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Amarillo (1208 S Tyler St, Amarillo, TX 79101).
