She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Oden Hughes and Frank Hughes; her husband W. L. "Dub" Norton; her son Grant Norton; her grandson Tyler Carr; and her siblings, Ferrel Hughes and Wanda Buchanan.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Carr of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Kresha Norton (Miguel Morales) of Amarillo, Tre Norton (Emily) of Amarillo, Kelci Whatley (Ryan) of Amarillo and Dana Messer (Tyler) of Oklahoma; and her great grandchildren, Baux Martinez, Adrian Morales, Cobin Morales, Mali Bryan, Nash Messer, Kameron Johnson, Sophia Whatley and Teagan Norton.
