He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pioquinto Martinez and Hortencia Martinez (Alvarado); his wife Esperanza Ortiz of Hereford, Texas; his children, Raymond Martinez, Jr. (Kippi) of Friona, Robert Martinez of Bardstown, Brenda Bice of Hereford and Patricia Sheen (Eric) of Amarillo, Texas; his grandchildren, Tyler Martinez, Austin Martinez, Kelly Cook, Gabe Martinez (Maggie), Anderson Sheen and Brady Bice; his great grandchildren, Cane Steward Martinez and Tate Martinez; his brothers, Richard Martinez of Hereford, Texas., Ray Martinez (Linda) of Hereford, Texas., Roy Martinez of Hereford, Texas., Ralph Martinez (Melissa) of Hereford, Texas. and Rudy Martinez; and his grandson Zack Martinez.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Good News Church of Hereford (621 E 15th St, Hereford, TX 79045). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (115 N 25 Mile Ave, Hereford, TX 79045). A burial will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery (115 N 25 Mile Ave, Hereford, TX 79045).
