She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Purdy and Esther Purdy; her husband Hugh Sticksel; her son Scott Allen Sticksel; and her brothers-in-law, John Charles Sticksel and William Sticksel.
She is survived by: her daughter Heidi Hawkins (AW); her grandchildren, Shelby Sticksel (Doug Bliss), Hayden Sticksel and Howdy Hawkins; her sisters-in-law, Mary Nell Lemert (Rex Lemert), Michaele Sticksel and Susie Sticksel; and her nieces and nephews, Priscilla and Bohn.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hugh Sticksel Memorial Scholarship at Tascosa High School.
