He was predeceased by: his parents, Odessma, Sr. Nickerson and Ruby Fay Fowlks Nickerson; his wife Nellie Mae Alexander; his son Gregory Nickerson; and his siblings, Joyce Marie Nickerson Frost, Ruby Lee Nickerson Smith, Roy Curtis Nickerson and Leonard Frank Nickerson.
He is survived by: his children, Kingery Nickerson (Cathy) of Amarillo, Roger Nickerson of Amarillo, Yolanda Nickerson Brown of Amarillo and Reverend Xavier Nickerson of The Colony; and his siblings, C. W. Nickerson of Amarillo, Vernon Nickerson (Francis) of Inglewood, Chres Nickerson of Amarillo and Sandra F. Nickerson of Amarillo. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.
