With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nova Francis Neuhaus of Amarillo, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nova left this world on November 28, 2024 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh Neuhaus; her parents, Carl Grecian and Violet Grecian; and her siblings, Ida Adams and Lester Grecian.
She is survived by: her children, Ben (Marty) of Kansas City and Karla Stewart of Amarillo; her granddaughter Shannon Baucom (Sam); her great grandchildren, Nik Baucom (Bekah), Samantha Baucom and Hunter Stewart (Andie); and her great great grandchild Charlie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel (4180 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, TX 79109). After Hugh's death, Nova returned to Amarillo and assumed the Volunteer Coordinator position before becoming the director of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), retiring at age 76.
