As Norma Sue departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Norma Sue. Though Norma Sue may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Euel Smith and Anna Mae Cecil; her husband Calvin Manuel Bocox; and her daughter Theresa Browne. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Lamm, John Browne and Roberta Waggoner; her brothers, Sonny Smith and Johnny Smith (Linda); and her cousins, Jackie Meek (late Lloyd Meek), Bobbie Darlene Alexander, Ray and Roy Meek. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
