He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Clay Fredric Spurlock and William Alexander Spurlock; his wife Mary Wayne Spurlock; his son Jeffery Wayne Spurlock; and his siblings, Mamie Bowen, Elsie Pearl Hill, Harvey Spurlock, Clay Spurlock, Travis Spurlock and Alvin Spurlock.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Spurlock-Rawlins (Donny) of Fritch, Wesley Spurlock (Susie) of Stratford and Kathy Plunk (Max) of Lawton, OK.; his grandchildren, Kelby Friemel (Amber), Crystal Hicks (Brett), Annie Dozier (Jason), Brady Plunk (Julie), Walter Spurlock (Nicole), Cody Plunk (Madison) and Jennie Spurlock-Rayfield (Mike); and his brother-in-law Dr. Duane Tinkler (Jeanie) of Amarillo. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
