Nancy Dines Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Dines of Amarillo, Texas, born in Dover, Delaware, who passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Newborg and Dr. Jean T. Newborg; her husband Clifford H. Dines; her brother Victor "Ponch" Newborg; and her niece Jean Winner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Poole of Amarillo, Endora Pierce of Amarillo and Flea Parker (Steve) of Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Christine Guerrero (Jeremiah), Sarah Dines (Desmin Luper), William Pierce (Perry) and Victoria Dines (Diondre Bell); her great grandchildren, Artemis, London, Vaughn, Chloe, Terrence, Jaela, Jaz'dn, Desmin Jr., Damari, Saniyah, Khaza, Ryan James, Jakob, Justice, Julius, Dereon, Dallas and Sage; and her siblings, Jean Eckman, William Newborg (Kathy) and Jonathan Bartley Newborg (Tami). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, a host of extended family and close friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cox Rowley Funeral Home (4180 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, TX 79109). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (1100 S Harrison St, Amarillo, TX 79101).
