He is survived by: his wife Kay; his son Drew Smith (May Guerrero) of Loveland, CO; his brother Mark; his sister-in-law Kathy Smith of Nampa, ID; his sisters, Marka Summerford of Houston, TX, Miguela Fry of Verona, WI and Molly; and his brother-in-law Dan O'Brien of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel (500 E 3rd St, Portales, NM 88130).
