She was predeceased by: her parents, Hartsel Wesley Pace and Mazie Fern Mosier Pace; her husband Nick Joe Nelson; her children, Daniel Thomas and Frances Elaine; her brother Dwight Pace; and her nephew Michael Pace.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Marie Ward of McKinney and Pamela Kay Gonce of Amarillo. She is also survived by niece, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the South Hills Christian Church (3200 Bilglade Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76133). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Llano Cemetery (2900 S Hayes St, Amarillo, TX 79103).
