He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Ford Carter and Lorene Louise Carter; his wife Mary Charlene; and his brother Sammy Lee Carter. He is survived by: his children, Kim Spoon (Jim), Sam Carter (Kym) and Lee Carter; and his sisters, Chryle Murry and Jan Rogers. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
