It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuela Mireles in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on December 21, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Morales and Barbra Fuentes Morales; her son Jose Trinidad Mireles; her siblings, Eugenia Morales (Feliciano), Matilde Gutierrez (Raul) and Antonio Morales; and her children-in-law, Rosario Cortez and Rene Gunzelman.
She is survived by: her husband Miguel Mireles; her children, Luz Maria Mireles (Pedro), Regula Gunzelman, Martina Holalde (Tony), Heriberto Mireles (Socorro), Nerea Bandera (Luis), Jesus M. Mireles (Irene), Antonio Mireles, Manuela Mireles (Natividad), Oscar Mireles (Angelica) and Jorge Mireles (Dalia); and her daughter-in-law Lupe Mireles. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, numerous grandchildren, and some great-great-grandchildren.
