It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luis Carlos Hernandez-Chairez (Amarillo, Texas), who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Luis Carlos may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Luis Carlos touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lagrone Blackburn Funeral Home (Martin Road Chapel) (1505 Martin Rd, Amarillo, TX 79107). A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Laurence Catholic Church (2300 N Spring St, Amarillo, TX 79107).
