Louise Box Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2025, at the age of 100, Louise Box (Amarillo, Texas) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Louise Box to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Talbot Ott "T. O." Pugh and Hattie Blanche Pugh (Holland); her grandmother Holland; her husband Boyce Murrell Box; her siblings, Estel Pugh, Delos Pugh of Boise City, OK and Betty Pugh Daniel of Perryton; her daughter Brenda Lynne Box-Bristol; and her grandson Blake Kennedy Box II.
She is survived by: her children, Baylor, Lynette Box Herring of Waco, Blake of Dallas, Rhonda Box Fowles (Jay) of Willis, TX and Bernay (Robin) of Dallas; her grandchildren, Blayne Bristol Noblin (Jim), Heath Herring (Sarah), Holland Herring Werry (Kevin), Hunter Herring (Nikki), Claire Box Carney (Curtis), Baxter Box (Amber) and Bailee Box Covert; and her great grandchildren, Katlyn Herring, Vera, Hawk, Zelma Herring, Jackson, Jasper Werry, Loreli Werry, Hallie, Henslee Herring, Bella, Brody, Bea Pacholski, Bevie, Birdie, Boyce, Bizzy, Boots Box, Cadence and Camden Carney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1208 S Tyler St, Amarillo, TX 79101).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Box Scholarship Fund at First Baptist Church; or West Texas A&M University Athletics Dept.
