She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bassett and Jessie Mae Bassett. She is survived by: her siblings, Gale Bassett (Angela), Walter Bassett (Tracy), Gary Bassett of Guthrie Oklahoma and Inez Johnson (Pat) of Pittsburgh, California; her children, Robbye Hicks (Michelle) and Quinn Jucaye Hicks (Jeana); her children-in-law, Calvin Jones (Snake) and Renatta Hicks; and her grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Ashley, Aleasha (JJ), Taleasha, Martavia (Tae), Hannah (Bell), Lashonna, Damorrion and Jaylon Hicks.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church (3100 Angelus Dr, Amarillo, TX 79107). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church (1001 N Hayden St, Amarillo, TX 79107). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Llano Cemetery (2900 S Hayes St, Amarillo, TX 79103).
