He was predeceased by: his parents, Isom Reed and Elva Reed; his wife Helena Reed; and his siblings, Elizabeth McDonald, Juanita Gowin, James Reed and Cecil Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Vera Little of Austin, TX, Lisa Lanier (Alan) of Amarillo and Paul Reed (Kristina) of Bushland; his siblings, E. G. Reed (Barb) of Quitaque, TX, George Reed (Roy) of Silverton, TX and Alma Monk (Roy) of Evergreen, CO; and his granddaughter Gina Reed (Kalin Denney).
The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the High Plains Children's Home.
