Joyce Beatrice Kallin Attebury Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Beatrice Kallin Attebury (Amarillo, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Kallin and Anton Kallin; her husband W. H. Attebury (Bill); her daughter Libby Dodgen; her great grandchild Otto; and her siblings, Eddie, Micki Hess (Marguerite) and Terry Kesler.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ed Thanhouser (Molly), Spencer Thanhouser (Maria), Bill Thanhouser (Kristine), Michael Thanhouser, Elaine Perez (Andy), John Attebury (Alejandra), Will Umphres (Louisa), Chris Umphres (Eleanor), Brian Umphres (Elizabeth), Jackie Dodgen (Phillip), Sam Attebury, Charles Attebury and Hugh Attebury.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Polk Street Methodist Church (1401 S Polk St UNIT 4, Amarillo, TX 79101).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials can be made to the Attebury Honors Program at WTAMU, WTAMU Box 60766, Canyon, TX 79016 or the Amarillo Botanical Gardens Arboretum, 1400 Streit Dr., Amarillo, TX 79106.
