It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Frank Mains (Amarillo, Texas), who passed away on June 13, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Mains and Virginia Menaugh Mains; his brothers, Lloyd Mains, Blaine Mains, Everett Mains and Jim Mains; and his daughter Sherry Ziegler.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Gerry Mains (Dinah), Bill Mains, Jeanee Marler, Tami Owen (Patricia Watts), Chad Bonds (Suzanne) and Derrick Bonds (Amber); and his sisters, Olive Jones and Betty Christensen. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to First Presbyterian Church in Amarillo, Texas.
