With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeff Chapa Sr. of Amarillo, Texas, born in Cavalier, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Christobal Chapa and Esperanza Chapa; his wife Cindy Chapa; and his siblings, Albert Chapa, Christobal Chapa, Alfredo Chapa, Virgina Villareal and Viola Esquivel.
He is survived by: his former wife Brenda Chapa; his children, Cynthia Davis (Jordan Davis), Erika Padilla (Gilly Padilla), Gonsalo Jeff Chapa, Jr. (Valerie Palacios Chapa) and Angelica Chapa (Ryan Moran); his grandchildren, Sierra Davis, Kiva Davis, Isabella Davis, Dylan Macias, Connor Chapa and Mila Chapa; his siblings, Ruben Chapa (Bonnie), Robert Chapa (Maria), Mike Chapa (Olga), George Chapa (Mary), Tony Chapa (Thelma) and Olga (Pete Sarabia); and his sister-in-law Flora Chapa. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lemons Funeral and Memorial Chapel (206 W 8th St, Plainview, TX 79072). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Plainview Cemetery (100 Joliet St, Plainview, TX 79072).
