He is survived by: his parents, Robin Holmes and James Holmes; his sister Amanda Trinh (Tyson); his nephew Eli Trinh; his nieces, Esther and Eden Trinh; and his grandparents, Shirley Holmes, Roy and Jennie Duck. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Donations can be made in Trey's name to MD Anderson Sarcoma Center.
