He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Brogdon and Gladys Brogdon; his daughter Shirley Jean Fine; and his siblings, J. A. Brogdon, Roy Brogdon, James Brogdon and Peggy Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Imogene Brogdon; his children, Larry Brogdon (Priscilla) of Mountain View, AR and Sherri Alexander (Doug) of Amarillo; his siblings, Albert "Junior" Brogdon (Pauline) of Iowa, David Brogdon of Mineral Wells, TX, Helen Patterson of Mineral Wells, TX and Linda Eagle of Diamond, MO; and his grandchildren, Brant Fine (Mary), Chad Fine (Jacqueline), Ryan Fine (Teri), Brett Brogdon (Angela), Stephanie Griffin (Matt), Brian Alexander (Haley), Shawn Alexander (Keri) and LaShella Carr (Tristan). He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Cox Rowley Funeral Home (4180 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, TX 79109). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel (4180 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, TX 79109).
The family suggests memorial donations may be made to Paramount Baptist Church Glory Singers.
