It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Marie Delgado in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ida Marie Delgado to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Sosa and Antonia Sosa; her husband Joe H. Delgado; her son Tony Delgado; and her grandchildren, Thomas Walker, Michael Delgado and Amanda Delgado.
She is survived by: her children, Mario Delgado, Cecelia Kerr, Danny Delgado and Albert Delgado. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lagrone Blackburn Funeral Home (Martin Road Chapel) (1505 Martin Rd, Amarillo, TX 79107). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Laurence Catholic Church (2300 N Spring St, Amarillo, TX 79107). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Llano Cemetery (2900 S Hayes St, Amarillo, TX 79103).
