With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Hiep Thi Hoang in Amarillo, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Trung Van Hoang and Xuan Thi Nguyen; her husband Tan Canh Hoang; her son Dung Tri Hoang; and her brother Rui Van Hoang.
She is survived by: her children, Tri Nhung Hoang (Hoang), Thu-Huong Thi, Phuc Trong Hoang (Tram) and Duc Trong Hoang; and her sisters, Binh Thi Hoang, Ngoc-Tuyet Thi Hoang and Ngoc-Thai Thi Hoang. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lagrone Blackburn Funeral Home (Martin Road Chapel) (1505 Martin Rd, Amarillo, TX 79107). A rosary was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Our Lady of Vietnam Church (2001 N Grand St, Amarillo, TX 79107). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Llano Cemetery (2900 S Hayes St, Amarillo, TX 79103).
