She was predeceased by: her former husband Michael Fasano; her mother Enriquetta Ortega; her brother Leopoldo Jr. Ortega; her grandparents, Teresa Biera, Lucio Lozano, Manuela Ortega and Genevebo Ortega; her tia Minerva Rodriguez (Minnie); her nephews, Victor Ortega and Jacob Levario; and her niece Alice Lee Perez.
She is survived by: her close friend Curtis Searcy; her daughters, Cassandra and Amanda; her daughters-in-law, Beth Chu and Kenzie Daniels; her father Leopoldo Ortega Sr.; and her siblings, Victor, John, Joe, Chris, Angel, Christina, Teresa and Gabrielle. She is also survived by family members and close friends.
