He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Rita; his children, Palika, Rahul Chandra, Malavika and Aniket Joshi; his siblings, Avinash Chandra, Meera, Vivek Khare, Poonam, Balbir Singh, Purnima, Rakesh Bahadur, Shashi Datta, Jayashree and Deepak Joshi; and his parents, Savitri Lal and Justice Dhruv Bihari Lal. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
