He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Jennings, and George Jennings, Sr.; and his siblings, Kelly Jennings and Dorothy Lou Fox. He is survived by: his wife Susan Widger Jennings; his children, Tom Jennings of Prosper and Mary Ann Thomas (Constantine) of Amarillo; his granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Bush of Amarillo; his sister-in-law Clara Jennings; and his stepchildren, Shannan Brice, Kevin Brice (Laurie), Andrew Brice, Maureen Brice and Carrie Ellen Sethi (Kash). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
His contributions extended beyond the courtroom; George was an active member of the Khiva Shrine fraternity and the Texas Freemasons, embodying principles of fellowship, charity, and goodwill throughout his life.
