He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Fox and Sarah J. Fox; his siblings, Wilma Joyce Fox, Frances Wright, Wanda Allen, Dorothy Tate, Lemond "Sonny" Fox, Marland "Buddy" Fox, Edwin Fox and Alton Fox; and his daughter Elaine Steen.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Hood Fox; his children, Chad Fox, Robert Griffin, Richard Griffin, Stephney Bennett and Tina DeLaRosa; and his sister Janice Fox Cooper. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
