We are sad to announce that on September 3, 2023, at the age of 74, Fred A. Yelton of Amarillo, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar L. "Chunk" Yelton and Marie Yelton; and his brother-in-law Bob Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Nita; his children, Tamara Packard (Ray) of Amarillo, Sonia Luna (Joe) of Anahuac and Andrew Sanchez (Dianna) of Amarillo; his siblings, Shirley Taylor of Amarillo, Eddie Yelton (Darlene) of Claude and Charles Gene Yelton (Lou) of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Joey Luna (Julia) of Anahuac, Jamie Luna of Anahuac and Andrew Sanchez (LeeAnne Bullard) of Fritch; and his pet Gracie "Chubby Butt". He is also survived by five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
