Though Esther may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Esther touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah "Bide" Pennington and Clara Pennington. She is survived by: her sister Mary Lambert of Scottsdale, AZ; her children, Leslie Spaulding, Jr. (Patty) of Amarillo, Greg Spaulding (Pam) of Manhattan, Jane Dougherty (Kevin) of Canyon and Deborah Hendley (Ted) of Amarillo; and also Phyllis Wasson of Meade. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Brooks Chapel (1702 5th Ave, Canyon, TX 79015).
