He was predeceased by: his brother Aaron Valdez; and his grandparents, Antonio and Mercedes Manríquez. He is survived by: his parents, Emma Lozano and Fernando Valdez (Edith) of Amarillo, Texas; his siblings, Fernando Valdez Jr., April Reyes (Cesar), Iris Tafoya (Phillip) and Noemi Valdez; and his nieces and nephews, Ace Garcia, Izaiah Mendoza, Ethan Reyes, Elijah Reyes, Zoey and Leah Tafoya. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
