He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Urias and Andrea Urias (Franco); his brothers, Elias Urias, Jr. and Melecio Urias; his parents-in-law, Ernesto and Dolores Griego; and his nephews, Timothy Urias and Sonny Urias.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Urias of Amarillo, Texas; his daughters, Monica Brown (Glen) of Florida and Adriana Urias of Corpus Christi, Texas; his grandchildren, Cameron Brown of Missouri, Corbin Brown of Florida and Carson Brown of Missouri; and his siblings, Ercilia Lafuente (Arnold) of Frisco, Mary Drake of Hereford, Ismael Urias of Hereford, Lionel Urias (Laura) of Katy, Yolanda Gavina (Manuel) of Amarillo, Diana Mendiaz of Hereford, Nora Pesina (Dan) of Hereford and Joann Ramirez (Gilbert) of Amarillo, Texas. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home (105 Greenwood St, Hereford, TX 79045). A rosary was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Mendez & Mullins Family Funeral Home (105 Greenwood St, Hereford, TX 79045). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (115 N 25 Mile Ave, Hereford, TX 79045). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (14200 I-27, Amarillo, TX 79119).
