We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2024, at the age of 87, Ellis Hanes of Amarillo, Texas, born in Keyes, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Hanes and Lillian Hanes; and his siblings, Jewel Wells, Ruby Wilson, Huston Hanes and Ward Green Hanes.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hanes; his children, Darlenea Robertson (Kyle), Donna Hanes Hartlaub (Timothy), Deanna Moore (Kirk) and Mike Hanes; and his sister Opal Burton (Wendell). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
