She is survived by: her mother Susan Newby of Canyon; her siblings, Dela Sue Lopez-Newby of Conroe, Texas, Dede Newby of Conroe, Texas, Johnel Newby of Canyon and Renee Freeman of Colorado; her brother-in-law Gary Wayne Koontz; and her nieces and nephews, Dale Koontz, Cathy Koontz, Joshua Koontz, Gary Allen Koontz, Chelsy Lopez, Caleb Lopez, Matthew Lopez, Jacob Newby, Jacey Newby and Scarlett Newby. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
