With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elaine Standish of Amarillo, Texas, born in Durango, Colorado, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elaine left this world on August 9, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Matney and Elta Matney; her husband William "Bill" Standish; her sons, Mark Standish and Joe Standish; and her siblings, Sonny, Elbe and Ruby.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Tabor of Azle, TX, Mary Ann Miller of Amarillo and John Standish (Anna "Bobbi") of Amarillo. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
