He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sweeney and Margaret Dodson Sweeney; his wife Ruth Sweeney; and his daughter Mary Etta Sweeney Hodges. He is survived by: his children, Twalla Castilow and Carlton Werschky (Diane). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
