It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earnest Lee Chasteen of Amarillo, Texas, born in Paducah, Texas, who passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Newton and Ora Carper Chasteen; his daughter Evelyn Delile; his son-in-law Randy Morrison; his great grandchildren, Justin and Noralee; and his siblings, LeRoy, Buddy, O'Dell, Howard, Sue and Oradel.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Rachel; his daughters, Carol Morrison of Amarillo and Cheryl Greer of Amarillo; his sister Betty Chasteen of Mineral Wells, TX; his grandchildren, Brandon, Seth, Chase, Megan, Chris, Jason, Tabitha, Samantha and Jessica; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Lauren, Tyler, Aspen, Avery, Riley Brayden, Jayden, Thea, Asher, Talyn, Emilia and Emmitt.
