He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Francis Anderson and Thomas Benjamin Garrett. He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Benjamin, Jr. (Tom), James Walter (Jim), Georgie, Lilly, Charles Leo (Charlie), Rena Kay and Becky Margurete; his spouse Lou Ann Roach; his friends, Gene Blackwell (Blackie) and Bobbi Mason; his son Mark Garrett (Emma) of Austin; his grandchildren, Sarah and Ben; his son Scott Garrett (Nicole Corrigan-Garrett) of Frisco; his grandchildren, Luke and Claire; and his sisters, Kay Sheets (Dave) of Germantown Hills, Illinois and Becky Hicks (Johnny) of Mineral Wells, Texas..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Amarillo - Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First Christian Church (3001 Wolflin Ave, Amarillo, TX 79109).
