He was predeceased by: his parents, Manney Johnson and Clair Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Nell Johnson of Amarillo, TX; his daughters, Susie Wilkerson of Lubbock, TX, Leesa Grills (Jeff) of Austin, TX and Renay Parsons (Matt) of Ennis, TX; and his brothers, Marvin Johnson of Amarillo, TX and Rev. Dennis Johnson (Jamielene) of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors - Amarillo (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hillside Christian Church (6100 S Soncy Rd, Amarillo, TX 79119).
