He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Pruitt and Ruby Pruitt (Henry); his wife Ramona Pruitt; his grandparents, Ike and Lily Henry; and his brothers, J. W. Pruitt and Johnny Ray Pruitt.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Ty Pruitt (Nicole) of San Antonio and Taunya Gear (Michael) of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Brent Horsley, Heath Head, Presley Pruitt, Piper Pruitt and Peyton Pruitt; his sisters, Shirley Cleveland of Greenville, SC, Nancy Cleveland (Dan Lollis) of Greenville, SC and Tami Ross (Mike) of Greenville, SC; and his close friends, Kim Douglas and Wes Brown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
