He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Sauceda and Telesflora Sauceda. He is survived by: his wife Dora Sauceda; and his children, Dionicio Jr. (Lorena), Elpidio (Maricruz), Arnulfo, Francisco, Pricilla and Lisette (Marcos Cisneros). He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, one great granddaughter, four brothers, five sisters, and nieces and nephews.
