It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darlene Ruth Wann of Amarillo, Texas, born in Clayton, New Mexico, who passed away on July 16, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Oliver Alonzo Wann; her daughter Mende Ruth Wann; her parents, George Winfield Lechner and Lela Nina Lechner; and her brother Ted H. Lechner.

She is survived by: her sons, Roger Wann (Carol) and Justin Wann (Joanna); her siblings, Donald Lechner (Nancy), Ila Roach, Georgia Dimitroff (Rodney) and Mary Lutes (Billy); and her grandchildren, Holli Hodges (Jake), Ashley Higley (Ryan), Austin Wann (Andrea), Riley Stanhope (Tristan), Lane Wann and Casey Wann. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
