He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. Adams and Edith Adams; his wife Barbara Adams; and his stepson David Nolen of New. He is survived by: his friends, Deputy Dean Butcher, Angel Gomez and Jerry Parker; his brother Jack; his children, Tracy Thornlow and Jeff Adams; his grandchildren, Brittney Bergeron (William Bergeron), Jordan, McKenna Thornlow and Tyler Adams; and his great grandchildren, Neveah and Graclyn Bergeron.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crossroads Country Church (14425 Farm to Market Rd 1541, Amarillo, TX 79118).
