He is survived by: his children, Dannette Joyce Ford (Ray), Greg "Plucky" Brown, Beverly Ann Hughes, Debora Ann Hewitt (Pastor Ed), Lois Ford, Gary Hughes, Gwen Fields (Terry) and Tammy Hughes; his grandchildren, Tameka, Tranetra, Toria, Ashley, Dwight, Tiffany, Candace, Ebony, Michelle, Jermaine, Monique, Ashauntae, Brittany, Bridget, Zachary, Cedric of Whitney, D. J., Talesha, Patrice, Eboni, Carlin Jr., Cahlil, Calum, Darius and Tayvon; his niece Nikki; his great-niece Nazaya; and his great-nephew Damarion. He is also survived by six great- grandchildren; fifty-four great-great-grandchildren.
