With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Gist of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on December 4, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Gist; and his sister Barbara Brogdon. He is survived by: his wife Angie Gist; his children, Athena Fallin (Jon) of Amarillo, Michael Martin (Maribel) of Amarillo, David Gist of Amarillo, J. D, Martin (Tiffany) of Houston, James Gist (Ceslea) of Amarillo and Connor Gist of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Edward Clyde Fallin, Phoebe Tallulah Fallin, Hayden James Gist, Michael Antonio Martin, Joe Don Martin Jr. and Sophia Rose Martin; and his mother Shirley Gist. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cox Rowley Funeral Home (4180 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, TX 79109). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Fellowship Church (5000 Hollywood Rd, Amarillo, TX 79119).
