He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cunningham and Ellen Cunningham; and his brother Roger Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife Penny Cunningham; his children, Sheri Marshall (Fred) of Amarillo and Dwayne Cunningham (Trish) of Amarillo; his sisters, Dianne Grant of Amarillo and Eileen Jones of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Alyssa Wilson (London), Ashley Cunningham, Alea Cunningham, Devin Marshal Haley Marshall and Taylor McLaughlin (Swayze); and his great grandchildren, Archer Wilson and Orion McGoffin.

The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
