It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ruth Polk of Amarillo, Texas, born in Texline, Texas, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Houston Jackson (Huse) and Mary Ruth Jackson (Curry); her brother Jim Jackson; and her husband Leroy Polk. She is survived by: her daughter Jacque Ruth (Randy Branch); her grandchildren, Ashley Branch and Preston Branch (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Truett of Amarillo and Briggs Branch of Amarillo; and her brother-in-law Bill Polk (Nancy) of Colorado Springs, Colorado.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Memorials may be made in Betty's memory to the Clayton Memorial Cemetery or charity of choice.
