Betty Lou Rickert Obituary

Though Betty Lou may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty Lou touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Ford and Olive Ford (Harris). She is survived by: her husband Ronald Rickert; her sons, Richard Rickert (Pam) of Beaver City and Jerry Rickert (Viola) of Amarillo; and her brother Lee Ford of Amarillo. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM and on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Prairie View Baptist Church (3700 E Farm to Market Rd 1151, Amarillo, TX 79118).
