It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Burgy (Amarillo, Texas), born in Shamrock, Texas, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Clinton Batchelor and Opal Betenbough Rae; her husband Bruce Aue Burgy; and her brothers, James Batchelor (Ramona), Bob Batchelor (Alberta) and Gary Rae.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Debbie, Ivy and Barbara; and also, Melody and Chuck Alexander.
