She was predeceased by : her great-grandparent Roberta Robinson; her grandmother Lucille Godbolt; her mother Willie Mae Sapp; her sister Dorothy Jean Collins; and her nephew Derick "Bubba" Canty.

She is survived by : her adoptive mother Lena High of Amarillo, TX; her siblings, Bennie Earl Sapp (Concepcion) of Lubbock, TX, Ruby Sapp-Fox (Robert) of Arlington, TX and Sharron High; and her nieces and nephews, Christy Sapp, Chacidy Canty of Arlington, TX, Lilly High of Amarillo, TX, Bennie Canty of Arlington, TX, Jerome Sapp and Preston Sapp of Amarillo, TX..

A memorial service was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church (3100 Angelus Dr, Amarillo, TX 79107).
